Working on APIs for asset allocations (by Codex)
- FMP tested with API key. Was not able to directly resolve the 401k holdings symbols so need to try another service to resolve identity
- OpenFIGI works for identity resolution on 401k holdings. No asset data
- Trying Alpha Vantage for asset data
- Ran initial test of the identifiers to determine coverage. Blew through the free API limit. 2026-06-21 rerun Alpha Vantage API tests, then determine costs and fund look-through data
- SEC API for asset data
- Was able to identify all the funds except plan funds. PNC did not resolve as it’s not a fund
- Regardless, cannot resolve everything from any one service, so created an manual allocation data fallback / override. Populated via the fund factsheets
